Hi, this is John Dale from GlobileNet here. I’m just talking about customer interactions, whether they be big or small, and particularly for those that have given us reviews.
Lighting Problems and Requests
We always start with a problem, of course, and Mel had given me a call, and she had a problem with some of the lights not working, and she wanted to relocate a couple of more old-fashioned pendant lights from one place to another, and she wanted to replace those with a couple of new lights.
On-Site Visit and Quotation
So I went to her place, had a good look, gave her a quote, made some suggestions about what she should change the lights to in the backyard. They were very old fluorescent-type tubes, and she accepted the quote.
Personal Lighting Preferences
Now, the The reason she wanted to do it is that she just liked the effect of these pendant lights. They would hang in the kitchen and lounge area and just give her a low light, which is what she likes. And not everybody likes the lights in the same way. To some it’s too dull, to some it’s too bright.
Pendant Light Removal and Reinstallation
So anyway, in order to do this, we had to remove these fittings. They had a lot of baubles and bits and pieces on them. Drop them down carefully so that we could redeploy them. Take the old fittings in the original locations and pop up the new lamps and fit them out with new globes, which were LED so that they would last for a long time.
Outdoor LED Lighting Installation
We put LED strip or lead lights or batten lights in the outside area because it was well sheltered and they give a fantastic amount of light, which is what she wanted in the outdoor area. And she supplied a couple of new lights for the areas where we’d relocated lights.
Satisfied Customer and Final Result
So she was very happy at the end of it. The kitchen lights were very ornamental and fitted her lighting requirements quite nicely, especially with the new LED lamps in them.
