Reuben began his electrical apprenticeship with John and has been building his experience by working with him ever since. Together, they form the local friendly electrician team at GlobileNet for residents in the Hills Area.
Living in the Hills District himself, Reuben knows, first hand, common electrical issues locals face in their home, whatever their type of residence. And so, it comes as no surpise that Hills locals know Reuben by name and tend to become repeat customers for their electrical and cabling needs.
Reuben is a new dad and likes to play the guitar in his spare time.
John began his electrical apprenticeship in his teenage years whilst still in high school. Since then, he has worked in various related fields from telecoms to IT, and from commercial electrical to residential electrical, all across Sydney. All up, he has over 30 years of experience working on all things cable.
Since moving to the Hills, John has focused specifically in residential electrical work and has helped 100's of homes and families with their electrical and cabling needs. That's why he's known as the local friendly electrician by so many!
In his spare time, he enjoys kayaking in the Northern Beaches and along the Hawkesbury River, as well as spending time with his grandkids.
Max is currently undergoing his apprenticeship with John and Reuben and is quickly learning the tricks of the trade, but don't make the mistake of equating his youth for inexperience. He has already made quite a name for himself amongst Hills locals as a skilled electrician in his own right.
He has always had a fascination for how things around the house worked, and that has naturally translated to his love for electrical work, and that love shines through in every cable and every wire that passes through his hands.
Originally a telephony company based in the Northern Beaches, GlobileNet has been operating in Sydney’s Hills District since 2007.

John, is great at what he does. He is polite, punctual and quick. We had him over our place last year, to inspect the solar system, he did a quick check and there was nothing to fix. He was kind enough to not charge us anything. This year again our solar system stopped working, a quick call to John and he came over to do the primary inspection. After the primary inspection he connected us with the Solar specialists to check and fix the issue. This time too John did not charge us anything as the work was minimal. Can highly recommend John at GlobileNet. Needed to replace defunct pool lights, failed transformers etc. John replaced 2 old Halogen lights with 2 new LED lights. This required having to also place new mounting brackets which presented problems. But he managed to do this without having to pump out thousands of litres of water from the pool, which made it more difficult for himself, but no hassle to me. He kept me informed along the way, advised of amendments needed to the plan due to problems emerging, was a good problem solver. He is ethical and respectful and I was very confident in him. Finished with a great result.

Thank you John and Reuben for taking on this big job! He came and provided a competitive quote and is worth it. He provided intuitive and realistic options for the installation of modern lighting appliances. He and his team exceeded our expectations and despite having to adjust the quote afterwards, John personally made sure that the appliances all worked 100%. And provides a warranty. He is definitely the electrician to use for all lighting types but definitely moreso for the complex installations. He was insightful, intuitive and ingenious with his solutions. My home had electric tripping and I had a hard time identifying the cause. John helped me find the cause and tried saving call out fees. There was faulty plug point which needed replacing. He came and replaced it. It's been weeks and I have had no recurring issues.

He did a great job even with the extremely limited access small void in the suspended ceiling and got all 3 fans connected in a single day.
