Circuit Breaker Tripping & Whole-House Power Loss Diagnosis

Hello, this is John Dale from GlobileNet, another customer interactive story. This time we had Bipin give us a call, looked us up on Google, and he had the problem or requirement that he was having this intermittent tripping problem with a circuit breaker that was knocking out all the power in his house because of the way the wiring was structured.

Weekend Electrical Callout & Standard Service Rate

And so this was just the standard call rate, basically, to go and visit on a Saturday.

Hidden Power Points & Appliance Isolation in Fault Finding

When I got there, Bipin was explaining everything that he could see around the place, but a lot of people don’t remember that there are devices that they don’t see. For example, dishwashing machines under the sink have a power point. Of course, when you mention it and you’ve said to them already “have you disconnected everything?” And they go “yes”, and then the first thing you do is to go to their home and they haven’t disconnected the dishwasher, or they haven’t disconnected the range hood, which has got a power point above the cooktop.

Electrical Troubleshooting Process & Faulty Device Identification

So, you know, we have to go through that little process. In this case, there was a little device in the garage, and once we went through our troubleshooting stages, it was obvious that that was the problem. So I suggested to him how he would solve that, basically by throwing the unit away in this case.

Customer Satisfaction After Efficient Electrical Repair

And he was very, very happy that he could finally continue his day and said that “he did a good job and was quick and efficient. Definitely recommend to John looking for an electrician, John was friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks.” So if you want a friendly and knowledgeable electrician, give us a call at GlobileNet. Thank you.
