How We Helped Manoj

Quick Overview

A long-term customer contacted us about ongoing switchboard overload problems causing tripping, often at night. After a site survey, we diagnosed the issue, split the load, and installed additional powerpoints to prevent future disruptions. The customer was pleased with the professional service and left positive feedback.

Recurring Customer Relationship

Hi, this is John Dale from GlobileNet. We have a lot of recurring customers, of course, and Manoj is one of those. And he’s been with us for quite a few years.

Switchboard Overload and Powerpoints Installation

And he called me to discuss the switchboard and he was having some overload problems on certain circuits. So his problem was that sometimes they’re not easily recognisable. There were issues with tripping and often it would happen at night when he least wanted it to. He also wanted a couple of powerpoints installed.

Site Survey and Electrical Quote

I’d made a visit as I normally do, have a good look around, see if we can help a customer without really charging necessarily, but obviously we’re a business. But where we can, we can provide advice, and we always provide advice. And then we will convert that into a quote where it’s appropriate. And in this case, it was an obvious problem. I could see what the resolution would be. I gave him a price and he asked us to come around. He was very happy with the result.

Circuit Load Testing and Fault Diagnosis

These things can be quite often difficult because you don’t know what the customer is plugging in at the time that they’re plugging in. So it could be a faulty device, or it could be an overload problem. We can distinguish between the two quite easily, generally, when we do a survey of the site and the customer tells us the behavioural patterns that were preceded the trip incident. So in this case, I think we did have to share or split the load so they didn’t have that problem.

Customer Review and Feedback

Manoj was kind enough to give us a review again, and that was to say, “excellent professional service from John”, and our team of course. And that’s always a pleasure just to get the feedback and to say thank you for our customers. So if you would like an engaging relationship with GlobiIenet, then please call us. I am John Dale. Thank you.
