So we always check, you know, that the switchboard is up to date before we go to a customer. And sometimes when somebody asks you to change lights or do anything, even if it’s a fairly minor modification, we need to change the old circuit breaker, if it happens to be an old one, to a safety circuit breaker so that we can comply with the Australian wiring codes, but also that it leaves the customer in a safe position.
Scope Clarification & Pool Power Point Electrical Assessment
So in this case, we also outline what we’re not supplying. There were certain lights he wanted to supply himself. There’s certain assumptions too, you know, like when somebody says, oh well, the pool needs some work, like changing power points. We need to do more than just change a power point. We need to make sure that the pool power points are generally in good condition, that they’re not being asked to be replaced.

So we also in this case installed smart switches because he had a spotlight near a gate and it was very difficult to wire. So we gave him the option to buy smart switching, and I think he did take that option, and he was pretty happy with the outcome.
