Bathroom Exhaust Fan Fault & Lighting Circuit Issues
Hi, this is John Dale here from GlobileNet, just talking about customer experiences that we have. This one was from Michael Suski.
Bathroom Exhaust Fan Failure & Lighting Fault Diagnosis
Michael had called me with a problem that the fan in the bathrooms were not working. There was a couple of bathrooms, actually. He also had a problem with one of the lights not working properly, and he thought it was a wiring problem. So he really needed to fix that because it was starting to get to winter and he needed to resolve that issue.
On-Site Electrical Inspection & 3-in-1 Unit Assessment
So when I went out there, I had a look as I normally do. I normally visit because there are so many different fan-heat unit combinations, three in ones, that you really do need to know what’s installed. And even if you know what’s installed, especially when it’s an old one, you don’t know if there’s something to replace it. So you need to measure the dimensions so that you can properly specify a quote rather than go in and then suddenly hand a large bill to the customer unexpectedly.
Free Electrical Evaluation & Customer Assurance
Anyway, the benefit for Michael was that, number one, because we go out there and we do a free evaluation, he gets the emotional comfort that we’re going to be doing the right job for him with knowledge based on his site.
Electrical Quotation & Scope of Works for Bathroom Upgrades
After the consulting process, we then put together a quote. In this case, it wasn’t a huge quote, but we changed the bathroom. It was to change the bathroom three-in-one units and to have a look at the corridor switching.
Lighting Circuit Fault Finding & Cross-Circuit Wiring Issue
Once we started the job, Michael allowed me to take off the switching and I could see what the problem was, but there was a crossover between two different circuits, though, that was causing the problem. So it was a little more difficult or sophisticated, the solution, than initially thought because somebody basically wired it incorrectly in the first place.
Installation of 3-in-1 Units & Switch Wiring Rectification
Anyway, we did get the right three-in-one units in. We got the corridor light switching properly, identified the problem professionally. We didn’t really need any tricks, but this is a process. If you don’t go through the steps required, particularly in the dimensions of the three-in-one units, and in the process of fault finding, then you end up spending a lot of time on these jobs.
Customer Satisfaction & High-Quality Electrical Workmanship
Michael was extremely happy. John and his team did a great job fixing several lighting issues around my place, fair place, and completed the work to a very high standard.
