Pool Light Fault-Finding Assessment
Hi, this is John Dale from GlobileNet, just discussing a range of services that we deliver to our clients. On this occasion, Neil had called us and had pool lights that were not working and hadn’t been working for a long time. So as we normally would, we go and have a look. We live locally, so we tend to work locally that means we don’t need to charge for quotes.
Pool Light Power Supply, Transformer and Cable Checks
So one of the benefits of that, of course, is that we’re easily available too if there’s a problem. Now, in this case, then, when you do pool lights, there are a number of factors to consider. The first being, does the pool lights have supply? Because it could be a what we call a transformer that’s in the, usually in the pool housing enclosure and it could be the light itself and it could be the cable that feeds the light because sometimes when the cables are exposed to salty water for a long time or chlorinated water they almost corrode and dissolve, so they’re not usable anymore.
Electrical Diagnosis and Client Communication for Pool Lights
So even if you change the light, it’s not going to work anyway so there are all those considerations and you can’t jump in the pool necessarily and check all those things. So there’s a little bit of I guess, experience that goes into deciding what the problem might be and of course, there’s a few, some very clear communications that has to be had with the client. Just to make sure that there’s no issue if you meet with the worst possible outcome, and they know what that’s going to be.
Underwater Pool Light Bracket and Adhesive Solution
In this case, we managed to remove the lights and lift them up from the pool, but the bracket was completely incompatible with anything that we had to supply in that place. That did leave us with a quite a difficult problem in terms of having underwater glues that actually will attach under the water so that we could put the light and attach it on a permanent basis into the old cradle. We did have at least good lights which we tested before doing that work and so the trick here was to get the right glue, basically because if you don’t get the right glue, it’s either not going to set hard enough or doesn’t set under the water you don’t want to make a mess under the water, of course either.
Dual Pool Light Installation and Transformer Loading
In this case, we were successful in attaching both the lights, two pool lights in this case and the transformers for the new lights are usually less loaded, so we can actually combine a transformer and have two lights on it, whereas in the older lights, they usually required one transformer each. Anyway, Neil was very happy with the outcome it was a difficult thing, he knew that and he was there to see how much we had to resolve problems and basically, I didn’t overcharge him for that, although, it’s it’s a difficult one .
Fair Pool Light Repair Pricing and Customer Satisfaction
But I don’t like customers to go away from us and go, “Oh my God, I feel like I’ve been ripped off”, so a lot of communication in that, just to make sure when we do invoice that he’s accepting the invoice and is still happy and that’s somebody I’d like you to become, a happy customer we’re GlobileNet, so give us a call. Thank you.
